Checked Baggage
When you travel on Kam Air, your complimentary baggage allowance is mentioned on your ticket.
Kam Air has the following baggage allowances for its International and Domestic passengers:
International Flights: 1 Piece 30Kg
Domestic Flights: 1 Piece 20Kg
Carry-on Baggage
You are allowed to carry 1 piece carry on all our flights based on the following size.
Maximum Size:
23 cm x 40 cm x 55 cm
(9 in x 15.5 in x 21.5 in)
Maximum weight:
7 Kg (15 lb)
30 KG 7 KG
Delayed Baggage
If you are unable to locate your checked baggage upon arrival, you'll need to notify a representative of the airline with which your flight terminates. For example, if you flew Kam Air from Kabul to Dubai, and then on to London with British Airways, you'll need to speak to a British Airways representative.

If your baggage has been delayed or lost, you should complete the Property Irregularity Report (PIR) form before leaving the airport.

Prohibited Items
To keep you and your fellow passengers safe, there are some items that you cannot take with you on Kam Air flights.
Things you shouldn’t bring on a Kam Air flight
- Dangerous items which could injure people or cause damage to the plane
- Lithium batteries
- Batteries (or devices with batteries) which are damaged, defective or recalled
- Items which are illegal in the country you’re travelling to or from
- Animals
- Hoverboards

Restrictions on hoverboards and lithium powered items
Please note that, for safety reasons, we cannot allow you to take items powered by lithium battery such as hoverboards, mini segways, balance wheels and solowheels on board any of our flights. This applies to hand baggage and checked baggage. If you’re carrying one of these items with or without batteries in your hand baggage or checked baggage, you’ll not be allowed to take it with you on your flight. Things you shouldn’t pack in your hand baggage
- Real, replica or toy weapons
- Sharp objects like knives, razor blades and scissors
- Hypodermic needles (unless you have a medical certificate explaining why you need them)
- Sporting bats and clubs
Things you shouldn’t pack in your checked baggage
- Fragile or perishable items
- Valuable items like money and jewellery
- Computers and other electronic devices which might contain personal data
- Any medication that you might need during your flight or trip
- Important documents like passports and visas

For safety reasons, you cannot carry e-cigarettes in your checked baggage. You’ll only be allowed to carry e-cigarettes on board our flights if they are in your hand baggage. Please also note that the operation, use or charging of e-cigarettes is prohibited on board our flights or while you are near any of our aircraft. Portable electronic devices in your checked baggage
Please note that any portable electronic devices packed in your checked baggage must be switched off and not able to be activated accidentally during the flight.
